El Mesón de los Poetas
In a large stately house in the heart of the city's historic downtown area, one finds the Hotel Meson de los Poetas, which opened its doors in 1999, and since then has prided itself on offering personalized service.
Here, in addition to all the customary services of a hotel, visitors can enjoy cultural events and expositions in the Alfonsina Storni gallery and sitting room.
The atmosphere at El Meson invites rest and reflection, and surely guests will find inspiration as they find themselves surrounded by some very illustrious poets, each of the hotel's 29 guestrooms and 2 suites are dedicated to, and identified with one of them. The poets include Jose Martí, Octavio Paz, Pablo Neruda and Mati Rangel.
