El Marqués Hacienda
This hacienda dates back to the times of the second viceroy of New Spain, Luis de Velazco, who in 1557 awarded this land to Pedro Muñoz Maese de Roa, for the establishment of a major livestock ranch.
The Hacienda de Marqués Hotel offers excellent accommodations tucked away among centuries-old trees and magnificent gardens. There are 28 guestrooms, 4 cabin suites, 5 event spaces, a soccer field and tennis court, and a restaurant-bar. The hotel also features banquet Services for events both in and outside the hotel, and recreational activities such as horseback riding and mountain biking, among other activities and Services.
